Mechanical Estimator/Project Engineer required for Plumbing and Heating company in Northampton. We specialise in design, installation and maintenance of mechanical heating services for domestic and commercial projects.

This is an office based role, working closely with the Managing Director, the project engineer will be tasked with taking projects to tender, monthly valuations, working with spreadsheets and dealing with customers/clients.

This role would suit an experienced Heating Engineer looking to come off the tools, the estimator/project Engineer will have previous estimating experience within the mechanical services industry, as well as in depth knowledge of plumbing, heating and ventilation systems and products. This position would suit a heating engineer who would be keen to develop a career within the HVAC/Building Services sector.

Position Overview;
Preparing cost pricing and estimates for new contracts
Amendments or Variations to existing contracts
Procurement of materials for projects
Regular contact with customers to keep them updated

Position Requirements;
Mechanical Services experience with the domestic or commercial heating sector
Previous experience in estimating for mechanical services
Produce tenders/quotations from architects drawings and specifications
Previous hands on experience as a heating engineer
Desire to work in an office-based mechanical estimating role
Previous experience, estimating and procurement of materials

Position Remuneration
Salary of between £25,000 to £40,000, depending on experience
20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
