Part-time cook required for community cafe

Hours of Work: 14-16 hours per week (usually Thurs-Sat, although some flexibility required to cover events and holidays)
Rate of Pay: £7.20 per hour
Location: The Pitstop, Main Street, Addiewell, EH55 8HN
Closing Date: 2nd September 2016
Job Profile
The Pitstop in Addiewell, West Lothian, are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Cook to cover our busy kitchen. The ideal person would need to be able to work on their own initiative and also within a team.
Duties include, but not limited to:
• To prepare and serve food to a high standard in our café, and also for events held within our function hall and any outside catering requirements
• Working unsupervised and largely unassisted preparing meals to a set menu
• Cleaning kitchen and preparation areas including dishes
• Stock rotation and control
• Following all Health and Safety guidelines and requirements
The successful candidate must hold a basic or intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate
