Owing to our successful opening “The Spiritualist Glasgow” now requires additional members of staff to join its team.
This once derelict library, in the heart of Glasgow’s Merchant City, has been revived as one of Scotland’s coolest new bars, boasting the country’s most extensive bar gantry comprising 320 spirits and liqueurs.
Spiritualist is about offering a superb range of food and drink, at a fair and affordable price. We want to give people in Glasgow a unique drinking and dining experience; a grown-up experience; a night-out they’ll treasure!
This unique venue is looking for a well presented, experienced, knowledgeable and hands-on Duty Manager who is highly motivated, an excellent communicator and accustomed to thriving during peak periods, ensuring company standards are maintained and adhered to, whilst demonstrating outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills to ensure guest satisfaction is at the forefront on every occasion.
The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure, lead from the front, show initiative and have the skills to deal with any situation that may arise with tact and diplomacy. You will also be flexible, hardworking, well organised and have excellent attention to detail whilst possessing natural confidence, charm and charisma in a friendly approachable manner.
We are ideally looking for a candidate who can demonstrate previous experience:
• As a Supervisor/Duty Manager in a similar style venue.
• In performance management, staff induction/training and staff motivation.
• In understanding Wines, Beers, Spirits with Cocktail knowledge.
• Of Health & Safety, Food Safety and Fire Safety policies and procedures.
• In Stock Taking and Cellar Management.
• As a Personal License Holder.
THIS MAY SUIT AN EXPERIENCED RESTAURANT/BAR SUPERVISOR LOOKING FOR THEIR FIRST STEPS IN TO MANAGEMENT.
As Duty Manager you will work closely within the Management Team, having regular input to business goals and objectives.
