Volkswagen Golf 1.9 SE TDI
Description
For sale I have my 2005 manual 105 bhp Golf 1.9 TDI . It has done 172,000 miles with service history. I have had the car since March 2015 and it's been an extremely cheap car to run. Reason for sale is that I've always wanted a Civic Type-R, and about a month ago I bought one. So the Golf is now surplus to requirements. Since my ownership many parts have been replaced which are as follows;
Cambelt done at 151,000 miles.
Brand new clutch with solid flywheel conversion done at 153,000 miles. Slave cylinder was changed at the same time.
Gearbox oil changed with proper Volkswagen oil. I have half a litre of this left over which can go with the car.
Brand new front wings replaced under warranty by Lookers Volkswagen in July 2015.
Serviced by myself at 166,000 miles. This included a lifetime BMC air filter, new oil filter and oil, new fuel filter and I cleaned the EGR valve out at the same time.
MOT until February 2017 with no advisories.
Brand new battery in March this year.
In the summer of last year, the alternator was rebuilt with all new bearings and belt.
Brand new air intake from the slam panel to the air box as the old one was looking a bit shabby. Again this was with parts from Volkswagen.
I've got a pouch full of receipts for all the above work.
Tyres all have around 5-6mm of tread on them.
Remote central locking
Electric front windows
Air conditioning
The car does have a few age related marks on the bodywork, mainly the bonnet which has some stone chips and an extremely shallow crease at the very front which is only visible at some angles. The rear bumper needs looking at on the offside corner as it is slightly out of line. ( I bought this like this and it has never bothered me as it is still presentable ) and the alloy wheels have some curbing. Interior "soft touch" material is a bit worn in places. Only one key.
Brake pad warning light is on due to a broken wire on the hub loom. I have a brand new loom which I got from Volkswagen, this just needs fitting ( about half an hour's labour ) just never got round to getting it done. Brake pads themselves are fine.
Will add some photos when it stops raining.
If you would like to come and have a look at the car, just drop me a text and I'll get back to you. 07757503318. Regards, Kyle.
