Rhythm guitarist, bassist and drummer wanted!
Lead singer and a lead guitarist in mid - late 20's looking for form a modern, non-cheesey, indie rock cover band to play the pub/club circuit. Please read all the details below...
We’re looking to form a quality, young, indie covers band -- playing well known hits from the likes of Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Coldplay, Kasabian, Stereophonics, Oasis and more.
Just to be clear, we’re ideally looking to cover this style, and not the cheesey "rock classics" (think Lynard Skynard, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, etc). There are numerous bands doing this same stuff out there, and we’d love to be in a band the caters for more modern stuff and a younger audience. If you have a look at this covers band it will give you the exact idea of what I'm trying to put together -- Google 'the anthemics'.
Ideally looking for musicians no older than mid 30's (nothing ageist, but from experience a group of a similar age tend to gel much better), who are committed to creating a quality act and have fun learning to be a solid band.
The plan would be to be play venues in the city, pubs, parties, etc -- places of young crowds who know these songs well!
The key words here are non-cheesey!

Again, we’re only looking for COMMITTED and SERIOUS applicants, who have experience and ideally their own transport too. That means rehearsing songs ready for practice, paying for band costs (which we will earn back with some luck), and a good attitude! Just stating up front to put off any potential flakers!
We’ve attached a VERY ROUGH demo that we threw together on Garageband, just for reference. This won’t be used for promotional material, it’s purely for this advert.
