The Blurb:

Mademoiselle Macaron is an award winning and multi faceted business making French macarons. As well as having a shop and cafe in central Edinburgh, we have a thriving web, wholesale and private order (particularly wedding) business.
We need the right sales person who can handle customer enquiries through our CRM system and coordinate orders going out to our wonderful brides and grooms as well as to our biggest clients including Harvey Nichols and Five -Star hotels. We want to work with someone who can follow up on new sales leads and grow the business as part of a close team to bring a little part of Paris to everyone.

Key Duties:

Provide excellent customer service from moment of enquiry to post sales customer handling
Follow up on new sales leads from wholesale and corporate opportunities to wedding customers
Issue invoices and manage day to day account administration
Liaise with kitchen team to coordinate bespoke orders
Ensure all accompanying materials are in stock for private customers from packaging to point of sale materials
Work with the team on marketing opportunities
Help develop new products to suit customer demand and opportunity

Required Skills/ Experience

Sales experience
CRM software experience
Effective time management and good organisational skills
Results driven attitude
Proficient in data handling and presentation in spreadsheets
Team player

Desirable Skills/Experience

Knowledge of Xero and Salesforce software
Knowledge of Shopify ecommerce system
Interest and knowledge of food and drink sector
Track record of sales growth
Experience in online sales
Light marketing experience

Hours

Part-time hours (typically 10am-3pm, five days a week) which can be arranged around other commitments e.g. family. There may be the opportunity of making this a full-time position as the team grows.
We are looking for someone who can start immediately.
