Ground Support Equipment Technician

My client based at Heathrow is looking for a Ground Support Equipment Technician to join there expanding team.

Duties will include:

- Carry out repairs on airside equipment and vehicles
- Assisting in recovery of vehicles
- Carrying out inspections, brakes and smoke tests
- Labelling part and put them onto correct shelves eg warranty
- Running repairs; diagnose and inform the lead hand
- Clean and maintain vehicles and equipment
- Informing supervisor of any accidents, dangerous occurrences or near miss events
- Sign off service and repair sheets for work carried out

Skills needed:

- Motor Mechanics- LGV
- At least 5 years + experience within a similar role
- 5 year check able work history
- Self- motivated
- Must hold a full UK driving license
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- HGV 2 license (desirable)
- Forklift license (desirable)
