We have an amazing furnished room (3mx5m) in a large warm and comfortable house. It’s a nice home that has just been done up to a good standard and has new double glassing, brand new carpets, restored features and a veg patch. The house has all mod cons (including 50MB broadband, washer driers), a huge kitchen with large range oven, a spacious lounge complete with megadrive, library and art on the walls.
The house is room is in a large four-bed house however only three of the room let out and the last is used as an office/ spare room. You’ll be sharing with nice creative and relaxed people (one man, one woman and a rabbit) who like cooking and chatting. (The kitchen is the heart of the house). We are looking for a housemate who is sociable and wants to live communally but is also respectful of other people’s space and needs. Basically we have a no dickheads policy.
Ideally we are looking for a professional who is 25-40 who is either a non-smoker or is happy to smoke in the garden.
The location of the house is superb, with easy walking distance to Uni, Town and St Jimmy’s hospital. Also there are good bus and cycle paths into town and the local conveniences, such as the range of continental supermarkets. Chapeltown also has some interesting places to eat, a great local park and a really warm sense of community.
