2008 VW Golf GTi - PRICE DROP!!!
£6.250
Description
I've dropped the price of this car considerably purely because I've seen the next car I want, but here's the advert:
The car is finished in Tornado red, the classic original colour selected back to the MK2 golf era. Many have spoken about how the MK5 re-ignited the brand after the slightly, 'soft' & 'heavy' MK4 version. I am a VW enthusiast and currently owning a MK2 & MK4 Anniversary, this MK5 is by far the best feeling to drive due to the narrow seating position and road holding. It certainly brings back the feeling from the MK2 but a hell of a lot more up to date!
The Golf in question is a 2008 model, registered at the end of Jan, therefore on a '57 plate. The car is currently sitting at 71,000 miles, but may increase slightly, although it isn't my main car. The car comes with a full service history, from VW and independent. At the last service it was due an oil change and I also had the cambelt change done. There is also a Pipercross lifetime air filter fitted within the standard air box.
Other than the panel filter replacement the engine is standard (2.0 Turbo with 200bhp) - I've owned quicker cars, but the power combination to driving presence is spot on with this car (without sounding like a boy-racer!)
The Monza 2 alloys are 18" with anthracite cut out's. When i bought the car they suffered with the dreaded 'white worming' to the faces. I've since had these refurbished and re-laquered. 4 x recent tyres also.
Interior wise, it has the tartan seats fitted, again bringing back the history of the Golf ranges to date. In my opinion this is the better option over leather. Other interior features include dual zone climate, cruise control, auto lights (inc. coming home feature) & auto wipers.
As to be expected there are stone chips to the front end in relation to the mileage, and one or two small car park shopping dinks.
