Encourage and support residents to find suitable volunteer opportunities inside or outside the house. To spend time with residents to offer help and support with volunteering opportunities. To introduce new activities in the house. To assist the house manger in coordinating the volunteers at the home.
This volunteer role will involve spending time with a resident one to one, identifying possible volunteering opportunities inside or outside the house. It will involve developing an action plan with residents on what they would like to do and give the resident support as required. Also you may work with the house manager to organise activities for residents.
