As a family company, SCRT is passionate about providing the highest possible quality of care for our clients. We are the largest independent Care At Home provider in the Lothians, providing services across East Lothian, Edinburgh, Midlothian and West Lothian.
You are an experienced coordinator capable of co-ordinating approximately 600 hours of care and support visits each week for our clients in East Lothian. You want to create a settled service, where each client has a team of trusted care workers, because you know the difference good continuity makes to your clients.
You will be a key part of our East Lothian team, working in our Musselburgh office alongside our Care Manager, Care Supervisor and on-call care worker. Part of your role will be to establish with clients and social work the level of service required and co-ordinate the appropriate staff via our staff rostering system; attend review meetings with clients to ensure their outcomes are being met; support and manage the care workers in your team; and work with the Care Manager to grow the East Lothian service.
You understand how important it is for our clients to be able to stay in their own homes and you are passionate about providing a high-quality service that enables them to do so. Your experience of care means that you respect people’s preferences – after all, we are guests in their homes. You know that getting the little things right for each client leads to excellent care.
