This is our lovely 1997 R registered Ducato Maxi 2.5 diesel, LWB, 2 berth camper van, with a low 101,000 miles from new and with lots of service history.
Starts first click in all weathers and drives very nicely. The power steering is light and makes for a very easy drive. Tyres, brakes, gearbox, suspension and steering etc. are perfect as is the bodywork.
It has been fully serviced with new oil change, filters etc. so reliability is assured. The van is smooth, reliable and surprisingly economical, returning over 35MPG if driven carefully.
Inside it has been converted to a very high standard with a clean, modern feel. The U-Shaped seating area is newly upholstered and easily converts into very comfortable bed across the width of the van.
The kitchen comprises of a 3 ring gas hob, grill and oven, sink with hot and cold running water supplied via an external water tank and water pump and a 240v and gas water heater. There is a three-way fridge and 240v microwave.
There is a clean porta potti secreted under one of the seats in the front.
The van has laminated floor and is thoroughly insulated making it very warm and cosy, there is a diesel night heater with for the blown air central heating system. There are new curtains fitted and blinds throughout and with tinted glass. There is plenty of under seat storage, over cab and kitchen storage with a small wardrobe. There are plenty of 12v internal lights and 240v power sockets and 2 skylights.
There are 2 new batteries and a split charge system as well as 240v hook up. A long 240v hook up lead, water container and gas bottle are also supplied.
The cab is clean and comfortable with a passenger swivel seat and also a nice stereo with Bluetooth and line in.
Overall, this is a very nice, comfortable and fully valeted 2 berth camper conversion. Registered as a motorhome on the logbook making it cheaper on insurance and with a new MOT it is completely ready to jump in and go. Ideal for any Euro Tour.
