Beschreibung
Victorian steel fireside log box with lift out steel container inside. It has embossed brass sheet covering the steel box with Tudor pub scenes on the top and front and a stippled bubble effect on the sides and the lid has old fashioned hammered steel rivets on the hinges.
By far better construction than the later Edwardian plywood log boxes, glued together with flimsy screwed on hinges.
Dimensions are 32cm high x 46cm wide x 30cm wide
