A stunning Antique Victorian Saratoga wood banded trunk with original travel labels. We have just finished restoring it back to its former glory. We think we did it justice.....
The lid needed reinforcing with some new brass hinges, new straps were added to keep the lid upright and it was gently cleaned without removing any of the original wear and patina.
We haven't renovated the inside so someone else can make it their own. I hope you will agree it was worth the effort ! It would make a lovely usable storage box for anything and everything!
Now ready for many more years ahead.....
(The trunk measures 33" length, 19" width and 22" height).
