Stag furniture, C range chest of four drawers. 1950-60s. Lovely solid unit. We sourced this piece in a painted condition with non original fixtures and no legs. We have removed the non original fixtures, filled any holes and imperfections, sanded the paintwork and lovingly repainted the main unit in ?smudge? grey and the drawers in ?swanky pants? Frenchic Alfresco chalk paint. The inside of the drawers came to us with an atlas style papered finish which we have kept as it was in good condition and we think adds a bit of character to this piece. Originally this item when new would have had legs on the bottom, so we have sourced some brand new pine legs and fitted these which we think really finishes the item.
All of our items have been salvaged and repainted or repaired and are unique pieces. Please note all of our furniture has had a previous life so will display some signs of this which we believe adds to the items character. Small holes and dents are filled and sanded before painting. Please note, you are not buying a brand new item, these are repaired or refinished items. Included in your purchase will be a small pot of the same paint used on your item.
