Personal Assistant
Description
A part-time personal assistant is required to provide administrative support to the directors of an exciting and rapidly expanding start up company. The role will entail:
- Removing the burden of day to day household administrative tasks from the directors, for example paying bills, opening mail, meter readings, setting up direct debits.
- Maintaining financial records, filing bank accounts and receipts, liaising with the accountant to ensure appropriate records are kept.
- Diary management. This may be for both work and personal events.
- Tracking email correspondence.
- Making travel arrangements.
- Other duties as might be required from time to time.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong administrative and organisational skills, initiative and reliability. They will have good communication skills. This will be a part time role and the number of hours required is likely to vary. The working pattern is flexible. Working times will usually be within normal office hours, but the directors will need to make contact with the administrator outside those hours at times. IT competence is necessary and will include familiarity with Microsoft Office software. Hourly rate is negotiable at £12 -£14, depending on the experience of the applicant. Initially, 8-12 hours per week are likely to be required.
