Description
Hi,
For sale is my Aprilia Falco as I have been offered another bike. A few details about the Falco below straight from wikipedia.
The Aprilia SL1000 Falco (also known as "Aprilia SL Mille"), is a sports motorcycle powered by a liquid-cooled Rotax 998 cc 60° V-twin engine, manufactured from 1999 to 2003 by Aprilia in Noale, Italy. The Falco's 118 hp (88 kW) engine was a detuned version of the 128 hp (95 kW) RSV Mille engine. The Falco's dual exhausts and remapped fuel injection reduced peak power slightly but bolstered bottom and mid-range. The Falco has a half-fairing, a twin-beam alloy frame, 53 mm USD forks from Showa (& later Marzocchi) and twin Brembo 320 mm semi-floating front brake discs. The clutch simulated a slipper clutch using a device activated by inlet manifold vacuum.
The bike being offered is a 2002 model in good, honest condition. It has covered just under 42,000 miles and has just been MOT'd on 21/07/2016 so has a full years mot. For the MOT it has had a new Michelin Pilot 2 tyre fitted and new rear brake pads. It has a few marks here and there as you would expect on a bike of this age. The bike comes with all books, spare key, receipts etc. Has been kept garaged.
I have tried to list some of the extra points below.
-Datatool alarm & immobilisor.
-Duel Fuel exhaust cans( sounds lovely and will scare people if you remove the baffles!).
-Single seat hump( rare and difficult to find) pillion seat also comes with bike.
-New Michelin pilot road2 tyre on back.
-New Yuasa battery fitted not too long ago.
-New sprag clutch fitted by previous owner.
-Side stand changed to honda blade item, essential if you don't want it to fall over(read the reviews in forums).
-Mini indicators on rear.
If I think of anything else I will add later.
The bike also comes with all of the below if it reaches the target price.
-Original exhaust system
-Mini indicators for the front.
-Brand new double bubble screen(never been fitted).
-Pillion seat.
